Our school was filled with colour, excitement and imagination as we celebrated World Book Day.
One of the highlights of the day was the sense of awe and wonder as pupils discovered a mysterious door hidden in our library. No one knew where it might lead… so the children let their creativity soar! They wrote imaginative pieces describing the magical places this enchanted door could take them. Their ideas were full of adventure, curiosity and true storytelling spirit.
Our school community shone even brighter as our older pupils shared stories with our younger children, reading together, laughing together and nurturing a love of reading across the school.
Throughout the day, we were reminded of our vision to “let your light shine”, and we saw our values in action across the school.
